Our Nido (‘nest’ in Italian) community has been designed to encourage the natural development of children between the ages of 6 months and 18 months old.
At The River House, we understand that as parents you strive to create a caring and safe environment for your family, and it is only natural you seek the same standard from your chosen school. Your child’s transition from home to The River House should be seamless and it will feel like a home away from home where they are comfortable, happy, and inspired.
The thoughtfully prepared, homelike environment meets the toddler’s desire for order and movement while providing a safe and language-rich experience. The very young child’s desire for functional independence is fostered through specially timed lessons by our trained guide and assistant.
Our young friends build confidence and experience the joy of doing things for themselves while exploring what it means to fit into a small social community.
